Elena – Piano Lessons & Singing lessons

Elena is a music graduate from the Academy of Contemporary Music. She was classically trained on piano and violin, but also plays & teaches contemporary modern music and folk.  Her musical practice revolves around teaching songwriting, performance and research.

Elena’s teaching approach adapts the fundamentals of good technique and musicianship to the individuals personality, ability and learning style. 

She has 5 years of teaching experience as a peripatetic teacher in schools around Surrey, at DK Music Academy, Hogan Music Academy. She is familiar with ABRSM and RockSchool Syllabuses and has prepared and passed many students through exams. 

Neil – Drum Lessons

The founder of CMT, Neil has twenty years professional musical & teaching experience ranging from one-to-one lessons to group tuition with students of all ages and abilities.

He takes pride in being an inspiration to the students that he teaches. As well as a full time tutor, Neil is also an active musician, gigging frequently for several acts, which means his students are taught all the skills needed to play in a band and are given invaluable inspiration.

Having played literally thousands of gigs, Neil still frequently tours the UK, and has played many famous venues including Glastonbury Festival and The Royal Festival Hall (headlining the London Jazz Festival).

Nora – Piano Lessons, Singing Lessons

Nora is a well-accomplished musician who frequently performs, records, teaches and writes music. She has been singing and playing piano from a young age and while growing up was classically trained. As she started her music degree she took a more contemporary path and discovered her love for jazz and popular music. Nora is part of several music projects including a jazz act called “The Breeze Acoustic Duo” (performed in UK, France, Latvia); her own originals project and singing backing vocals and playing piano in many other bands.
She has many years of teaching experience which includes private singing and piano tuition, choir-leading and teaching singing and music theory in a theatre school. Nora teaches ABRSM, Rockschool and Trinity grade syllabuses but she also has a vast repertoire of popular songs for students who aren’t interested in doing grades. She is a patient teacher and she is motivated to make the lessons fun and engaging while helping her students reach their maximum potential.

William – Guitar Lessons

William is an accomplished guitarist, mastering the instrument to degree level. He is a patient, yet fun and motivational teacher.

William likes to tailor his lessons specifically to each of the student’s needs so they can achieve their goals and see real progression and development in their playing. He teaches the popular Rockschool and Trinity Grade syllabuses, as well as his vast catalogue of popular song lessons for the students who do not wish to go down the grade route.

William is an in demand musician, who has played countless festivals and gigs in the UK and Europe supporting many different artists. He is also an in demand studio session player, the highlight being a session with the funk legend George Clinton of Parliament and Funkadelic.

Deanna – Singing lessons

Deanna has completed studying her BA (Hons) in Music in practice specialising in vocals at The Academy Of Contemporary Music.

Deanna has now been teaching for several years and attends regular vocal conferences, as well as webinars to broaden her knowledge. These help shape her one-to-one lessons better and improve the level of teaching she is able to provide to her students.

Dani – Guitar lessons, Singing Lessons, Piano Lessons, Drum Lessons (Cover teacher)

Dani is currently our weekend teacher, and is a talented multi instrumentalist, who has been working with many different bands and projects in all kind of venues and theatres as a session musician, songwriter and arranger for over ten years all over the UK and Spain, playing a wide range of genres (such as Blues, Rock, Jazz, Heavy Metal, Pop, Rn’B, Rock N’ Roll, etc.) and studying and exploring his musicality with instruments like piano, guitar, vocals and drums. He studied Guitar Performance (specialised in Jazz music) and Classical and Contemporary Music (including Piano, Vocals and Composition) at the High Conservatoire of Music of Canarias (Canary Islands, Spain) and is finishing his degree in Guitar and Music Performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music (Guildford, United Kingdom)

As a music teacher, Dani has now been teaching children and adults for about four years and he tailors his lessons to make the student have a fun and relaxed music time while learning the repertoire they like, technique, sight-reading, music theory and preparing all the skill set they need for their musical journey.
